GLL to offer skills camps in the fall for its players

To our families,

After careful consideration, Galveston Little League will not be hosting Fall Ball this year. As the majority of our coaches are only available in the spring, we simply will not have the volunteers required to organize the program. However, we are excited to instead offer players the opportunity to learn and improve fundamental baseball skills with Coach Chad Rogers at various camps this fall. Stay tuned for more information!

If this news is disappointing, please be a part of the solution by volunteering in the spring! Little League’s Diamond Leader Program for coaches is a great place to start. We know our families look forward to Fall Ball, but these are circumstances beyond our control. We hope to have more than enough volunteers for both seasons in 2024. The board is using this time to reflect on the experiences shared by the players, coaches, parents, and everyone else involved in its first season. We cannot wait to fill the stands again in the spring!
