Galveston Little League All-Stars

• Playing on an All-Star team is a privilege.
• There are no tryouts. Players are evaluated and ranked by their coaches throughout the regular season.

Please note that your player will be chosen for a reason:

• Playing ability
• Attitude
• Parent behavior
• Commitment

Player and Parent Commitments

• Galveston Little League strives to field the most competitive All-Star teams possible. We aim to ensure the teams are comprised of players, parents, managers and coaches that have exhibited - throughout the regular season - the abilities, attitude and character necessary to represent the ENTIRE COMMUNITY.
• With this in mind, Galveston only involves parents and players who are committed to the hard work and practice time(s) that are required to participate at this level of competition.
• All-Star teams practice more frequently than the regular season teams.
• All-Stars runs the entire month of June and BEYOND if the team advances.
• All-Star uniforms are expensive. There will be an additional fee for All-Stars.
• If you cannot commit to the entire season, then please do not accept the invitation.
  

Important Dates (TENTATIVE *** Dates are set by the District, but this is what we have so far.)

4/25: All-Star Commitment Form Due for ALL players in Competitive CP, Minors, Majors and Juniors divisions

5/16: All-Star teams announced for 7s, 8s, 9s, 10s, 11s and 12s by this date

5/23-5/25: Oak Tree Tournament (7s, 8s, 9s)

5/30-5/31: District Play starts (7s, 8s, 9s)

Mid-June: All-Star team announced for Juniors by this date

6/6-6/8: Oak Tree Tournament (10s, 11s, 12s)

6/13-6/14: District Play starts (10s, 11s, 12s)

End of June: District Play (Juniors)

First week of July (typically): Sectionals Play (10s, 11s, 12s, Juniors)

TBD: State Tournament (10s, 11s, 12s, Juniors)
